Highlights include the Bab Boujloud Gate, the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, and Al Quaraouiyine University, considered the oldest continuously operating university in the world. You will also visit the famous Chouara Tanneries, where traditional leather production techniques have been used for centuries. The tour concludes with a visit to the Royal Palace gates and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the entire medina.

Today, your journey continues south toward the Sahara Desert. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see wild Barbary macaques. After passing through Midelt, enjoy scenic views of the Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves.
