Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival at Casablanca International Airport, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen, traveling along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. During your visit to Rabat, explore several historical landmarks including the Royal Palace, the peaceful Kasbah of the Udayas, and the ancient Chellah Necropolis, a fascinating archaeological site surrounded by beautiful gardens. After the visit, continue your journey through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.”

Today is dedicated to exploring the charming town of Chefchaouen at your own pace. You may also hike to the Spanish Mosque, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains, especially at sunset.

After breakfast, depart toward Fes, stopping first at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its well-preserved columns, mosaics, and Roman streets that date back more than 2,000 years. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes, where you will visit the monumental Bab Mansour Gate, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, and explore the historic medina. Later in the afternoon, travel to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most culturally rich cities.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Explore the historic Fes El-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest medieval medinas in the world. Highlights include the Bab Boujloud Gate, the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, and Al Quaraouiyine University, considered the oldest continuously operating university in the world. You will also visit the famous Chouara Tanneries, where traditional leather production techniques have been used for centuries. The tour concludes with a visit to the Royal Palace gates and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the entire medina.

Today, your journey continues south toward the Sahara Desert. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see wild Barbary macaques. After passing through Midelt, enjoy scenic views of the Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, where you will ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp while enjoying a magical sunset.
